Please find attached a resume summarizing my 21+ year’s of problem solving experience in the construction industry. I am seeking a Senior Management or challenging Project Manager position with a firm in the greater Louisville, KY area with work in the surrounding region. I may be open to relocating, within the Mid-West or to the Southwest markets if necessary, for the right company/opportunity. I am married with a family and so travel must be evaluated as part of any negotiations.
As you will see, I have worked under many different methods of contracting, construction management, and design-build arrangements for public, institutional, and private clients on a wide range of project sizes and types. Currently, as the President and Founder of C-TeQ Construction Management & Contracting Company, I have developed the procedures, sales, and management of a local commercial construction business. After eight profitable years, though, the downturn in the economy has forced all our backlog of work to be either postponed or cancelled indefinitely. To avoid running this company into debt obligations, I have decided to close down operations. I am now looking to re-enter the job market and feel I could help bring value to your company’s bottom line with the skills and determination that I have developed over many years, with a passion for excellence in construction clients’ “bricks and mortar†dreams.
I will be available for interviews between November 11th – 25th, 2008. During this time I will be in the process of dismantling my current company’s paperwork, assets, and employer obligations. I will be making a final decision based on all competitive offers by Thanksgiving as promised to my family. I will be available to start work on December 1st, 2008.
JOHN P. JOHNSON
